Reflection: 

I found writing my speech hard because thinking of reasons has hard and writing my speech was also tricky but i think it was fun writing speech.

Persuasive Writing

WAL to identify persuasive techniques.  We had to figure out which technique they were using.  We had practised these techniques in the skits we created.  For example

They dress up like a scientist so we believe their expert opinion

30 Seconds has a slogan :”Spray and Walk Away”

Emotional Appeal makes you feel guilty if you don’t use the product

The technique I found easiest to remember is Slogan

The technique that was hardest was Band wagon

Overall, it was Easy

Excitement Poem

Reflection:
I was learning to write about the 5 senses. I found this work tricky because I had some trouble doing the brainstorm. I got stuck on making up the sentences in my book but it was easy doing the computer part.
Next time I want to get better words for work so it makes it more interesting.

Learning The Sounds Of English

Reflection:

We are learning to identify the sounds of English. Everyday we add a new slide with words that contain the sound of the day.

My First Day Of Year 6

Reflection:
I found this work easy because... Me and my class did a big brainstorm of what I saw, what I could hear, and I could feel. And that was a big boost to help me do my story quick and re-read it and check with a buddy.

My Kenning Peom

I was learning to write a kenning poem I found this tricky because I had to make sure it made sense and fit the criteria. I used the thesaurus To help me to make my words interesting and cool. The criteria was to  make a three word sentence with the starting with A or An.

Tired Words

What We Had To Do:
We had to find five words that we use alot and go and find other words that mean the same word like long i had to find 10 other words.

Reflection:
I found this tired words activity the easy to find words but annoying to do the tagul.

Writing Cube story

Reflection:
I found this hard to do because it was hard to do a complex and compound and simple was easy to do.

We had to write a story using compound complex and simple the simple was easy but he rest were hard but then i got used to it.

Fairy Tale Hot Seat

                                                    Reflection: What we had to do.
                                                    We had to make a decision to do little red riding hood or the big bad                                                             wolf we choose The Big Bad Wolf and did some asking to the big bad                                                         wolf I did it with Micah and Dee worked with in a 3 everyone else worked in two and we were the first ones to finished we were proud of what we did.

I found this easy to do because i was in a three.
I need to work on putting in more information in the work.

The Beach Day

At School we had to do a 100 word challenge and  it was fun to do it because you had to choose the man or the dog I choose the man we had to answer What it smelt like what it felt like and what it looked like.

I was the man in the story I really don't want to be him.

I found this easy to do because I had done this alot
This was hard not to more then 100 words

Reflection:
I found matching  these easy because I knew them all.
Also I found it easy because I could remember.
This rule is important to me because I could remember them all that they have no e in them

I am still confused on how this works on spelling

Recount Writing

Term 4 Week 6

WHOLE SCHOOL ASSEMBLY 

Last Week the whole school had a whole school assembly.It was about fantastic Fridays that the year 3,4,5's and 6 were doing the last five weeks. It was the last week for the fantastic Fridays so we did a showcase on all the groups I was in the Traditional sports we just did a slide show to show everyone I thought it was fun but the cricket in when we were playing found hard to do.It was hard cause I never play cricket before.

First we went to the classrooms that we had our fantastic Fridays teachers My group had to meet in room 21 and meet our teachers there then we lined up and went to assembly when we got there we found our spot and watched everyone come in and sit down then we started the assembly There were lots of groups and I liked cool Science cause the stuff that they did.


next we watched everyone,s I was kind of bored just siting down there but it was over and we went back to class and we talked about what we were doing and what we liked I thought it was cool.


I think we should do it again cause it is a lot of fun!!!!!!!
