Making Graphs in Spreedsheets

Reflection: In this learning we were learning how to make a line graphs and i found this easy and my next steps for graphs which we are doing tomorrow is a comparative line graph.

Reflection:
I found this task easy but tricky i found it easy to think of the ideas. But it was hard to come up with the maths questions

Reflection:

I found this easy because i just had to write down the section and colum of what it was. 

Tessellation

Reflection:

I found this easy because it was easy to copy and i liked to draw the faces on them.

Comparing Numbers

Reflection:

This work was pretty easy because I already knew groups of 5 and even and odd numbers. One thing that I learnt was square numbers. What I noticed was  a square number 1x1 2x2 4x4 5x5 and more I think this activity was good.

Measurement Scavenger Hunt

What we had to do:
We had to measure stuff around the room which was easy.

Reflection:
I found this easy to because we were working in a group of 4.

Fractions Word Problems

Reflection:
I found this hard to in the first part but then they were easy.
I need to work on my fractions

What we had to do: We had to come up with two word problems but with fractions then we wrote them in and tried to answer everyone else's word problems

Reflection:
I found this easy to do because we had 4 people i  our group.
I need to talk more about maths and not other stuff.

I found this easy to do because it was fast.

Maths Words Problems

WALT: find the key info in a question

Reba has 8 white buttons. She has 5 fewer brown buttons than white buttons. Reba has 15 more grey buttons than brown buttons. How many buttons does Reba have in all?

Reflection:I found this easy to do but mainly for this one i thought this maths was fun and i hope we can do more of this soon. next time i will try harder to do more work.

Geometry - 3D Shapes

MY REFLECTION:
When we did this i found it tricky at first but when i went to the workshop i found it easy and after we had to pack up the next time i finished this and when i learnt how to do it i also found it easy to do this.

Addition and Subtraction strategies

My Reflection

IT was hard doing it because we were a little bit stuck on it but it was fun.

Place Value

I was learning to read numbers up to 1000 and to say which is bigger or smaller.
The thing that helped me most was:
- remembering to look at the left to see if the digits are bigger
- using streets and houses to break up bigger numbers
- seeing patterns in the numbers that don’t change when they get bigger
- practising on Mathletics

My next step is to:To Do high numbers
